Easy Ranch Dressing Mix
Ranch dressing has always been my favorite for a green salad. I grew up on store bought packets we could quickly mix up into dressing for dinner, but as our family shifted to healthier eating, those packets didn’t fit into our lifestyle anymore. We were making everything from scratch, which was wonderful and delicious, but ranch dressing just felt more complicated than it used to. So, I invented my own Ranch Dressing Mix, and an easy dressing recipe to go with it.
Having Ranch to go with dinner is simple once again. In fact my 9 year old has taken on the making of Ranch Dressing as her job (which makes Mama very happy!). We love it on all kinds of things from chicken to eggs to roasted veggies, and eat it all the time now. Having an easy Ranch Dressing Mix on hand makes dressing come together in minutes.
Healthy and Allergy Friendly
Oh, and did I mention that our dressing recipe is allergy friendly?! No dairy or soy here unless that’s what you want. We use coconut milk, because we have dairy allergies, but that could easily be swapped for milk if you prefer (I reccomend raw milk if you can find it!). A light olive oil is my oil of choice, which means that this Ranch Dressing is so much healthier than the soybean or canola oil laden store counter part.

Buy your Ranch Dressing Mix ingredients in bulk
You’ll go through a lot of spices and herbs making this Ranch Dressing Mix recipe, so I highly reccomend buying bulk spices as you can. It’s an up front investment, but the price per ounce is substantially cheaper than the little jars from the grocery store. Here are some links to help you out:
Ground Mustard: This Frontier Co-op’s organic ground mustard is what I use, but here is Amazon’s brand if you are looking for the most cost effective.
Onion Powder: This one is a good price and comes in a cannister.
Garlic Powder: This one has a great price per ounce. This one is organic.
Dill: I use this Organic Dill from Frontier Co-Op, but if the organic label isn’t important to you, this one is the best price I’ve found.
Parlsey: One pound of parsley will go a long way, but the price per ounce, is way better!
